【摘要】：随着中国开放速度加快,对外交流也日益增多,特别是在医药领域,中国已从西方国家进口了大量药品,而这些药品必须经过注册审批方可进入中国市场。因此,在进口药品注册领域,对注册材料翻译及专业译员的需求量也在不断增加。本报告以作者由北京一家专业医药翻译公司承接的进口药品注册材料翻译项目为例,介绍了翻译项目;译前准备;译中翻译策略和辅助工具;译后校对;以及关于译员提高本领域翻译水平的长期建议等。在译中翻译策略方面,本报告从词汇、句型、文本和格式等不同角度分析了进口药品注册材料翻译的若干特点,并依据大量翻译实践总结出这些特点相应的翻译策略。例如,针对原文医学专业术语多的特点,要求译者不断扩充医学专业知识,同时提倡译者借助计算机辅助软件减少记忆工作量、提高术语翻译准确度和一致性;针对原文缩略语多的特点,要求译者理解缩略语指代含义,从而减少因理解错误而导致的误译;针对原文数据多的特点,要求译者细心谨慎,避免重大数据错误;针对译文需遵循翻译公司特定翻译习惯的特点,要求译者参考公司定稿译文惯用选词、句式等。此外,作者还列举了相应翻译实例用以佐证,使翻译策略更加明晰易懂。同时,由于进口药品注册材料翻译具有术语多、数据多、格式多、文本重复率高等特点,利用计算机翻译辅助软件如Trados的术语库词汇替换功能、翻译质量检测功能、语言对格式自动调整功能、记忆库自动匹配功能等可大幅提高翻译效率和质量。另外,善用搜索引擎,结合多种检索技巧,也有助于保证译文的专业性和准确度。综上所述,通过本报告中介绍的翻译策略和辅助工具,可以显著提高译员在进口药品注册材料翻译中的效率和质量。
