元认知策略在农村初中英语阅读教学中的应用研究

  英语阅读教学研究,一直是国内外学者研究的热点话题。但是,纵观国内外有关英语阅读的研究,我们发现,针对中国英语阅读教学的研究,始终是这个研究体系中最薄弱的环节之一。如何提高我国初中学生英语阅读能力,成为我们研究和教学工作的重点。本文采用定量和定性分析的方法,并结合元认知策略问卷、英语阅读测试、半开放式访谈等手段,对以下问题进行研究:(1)目前初中生在英语阅读学习中,对元认知策略的应用情况如何?(2)元认知策略培训是否影响元认知策略的应用?(3)元认知策略的应用与英语阅读成绩是否存在关系?如果是,有什么?本次实验采用实证研究的方法,一共持续了20周的时间。本次实验的研究对象是安徽省某农村中学九年级2个班级的106个学生。作者将她所带班级的两个班级分为实验班和控制班。对于实验班的学生,作者在平时的英语阅读课堂教学中开展元认知策略培训。对于控制班级的学生,作者则没有针对性地进行阅读策略培训。本次策略培训的内容主要集中在元认知知识的讲授以及计划策略、监控策略和评估策略三项元认知策略的训练上。首先,在培训前,为了掌握初中学生在英语阅读练习中元认知策略的使用情况,作者对实验班和控制班的学生分别进行第...
