牛津高阶英语学习词典中同义词辨析栏的历时研究

  在英语词汇中,同义词占了相当大一部分,同义词辨析是英语学习中的一个重要环节。作为英语学习中不可或缺的工具,词典为英语二语学习者提供了极大的帮助。《牛津高阶英语学习者词典》自1948年出版至今,修订了九个版本。当前的大部分研究都将该词典单个版本的同义词辨析栏作为研究对象,缺乏对它的各个版本的系统研究。本文将系统分析该词典几个版本中同义词辨析栏的变化情况及特点,并且基于原型理论,输入假说和语料库,分析该词典同义词辨析栏存在的优点和不足。将其优点应用于国内的英汉学习型词典编纂;针对该词典存在的不足,本文尝试在相关理论以及语料库的指导下进行优化。首先,本文选取了《牛津高阶英语学习词典》的五个版本进行研究,分析同义词辨析栏在这五个版本中的演变情况。其次,本文重点研究了该词典的第七版至第九版这三个版本。在这三个版本的同义词辨析栏中,本文主要从同义词词组收录以及辨析处理形式来进行研究。最后结合原型理论,输入假说以及语料库说明了同义词辨析栏的特点以及存在的优点和不足,并根据中国英语学习者用户的需求,提出相应的改进意见。本研究发现:1)《牛津高阶英语学习词典》直至第四版才增设“用法说明”,第六版首设“词...
