多维度的忠实性—《杨·弗美尔》翻译报告

关于多维度的忠实性,英国著名翻译家皮特·纽马克提出翻译要遵循“五个真实”,即事实、语言、审美、寓意、逻辑五个方面的真实。而著名语言学家、翻译家赵元任也强调了翻译中六个维度的忠实,即意义忠实和功能忠实、直译和地道翻译、出现频率问题、因强制范畴而产生的假忠实性、风格忠实和声音效果忠实。中外学者都强调翻译中的多维度忠实性,尤其强调译作应忠实于事实、原文的内容和风格,符合译入语的表达习惯,并传达出原文的美感。为此,笔者针对艺术类书籍——《杨·弗美尔》的翻译,选择多维度的忠实性作为理论依据,以实现翻译文本的忠实性和可读性。第一章首先介绍了杨·弗美尔2在绘画、艺术、文学、电影等领域的影响力;其次分析有关弗美尔的中文译本;最后指出本报告的意义:鉴于有关艺术类的文本翻译研究在国内尚有不足,因此,译者尝试将纽马克、赵元任等翻译家所阐述的翻译中多维度的忠实性作为艺术类书籍翻译的理论指导,并讨论其在翻译实践中的可行性和有效性。第二章分析了原作者的主要作品,尤其是《杨·弗美尔》的语言特色和文体风格,旨在帮助译者选择合适的翻译标准。翻译文本的语言精炼简洁、善用形容词,且图像与文字的结合恰到好处。根据不同的文体风...
