从多模态隐转喻视角分析《中华的故事》中的中国国家形象

  国家形象是一个民族的名片,是国家软实力的重要组成部分,能够体现一个国家的历史文化、民族精神以及价值观念。而纪录片作为一种信息传播的重要手段,是国际交流中塑造、传播并提升国家形象的重要载体。英国广播公司(BBC,British Broadcasting Corporation),是世界最大的新闻广播机构之一,由其拍摄的纪录片在全球享有高知名度和广泛信誉,研究其对中国国家形象的塑造有着重要现实的意义。目前,国内外多模态隐转喻的相关研究主要集中于广告及政治漫画等语类的分析,鲜有关注动态的纪录片语类中多模态隐转喻的意义构建。笔者选择由英国广播公司拍摄的大型纪录片《中华的故事》第一集《祖先》作为研究语料文本,来探究该纪录片中所体现的多模态隐喻和转喻,并分析其塑造的国家形象,进而研究多模态隐喻和转喻的互动。本文在多模态隐喻和转喻的理论框架下,运用语言学分析软件ELAN对纪录片中涉及到塑造国家形象的多模态隐喻和转喻进行了标注。拟解决如下三个问题:《中华的故事》中多模态隐转喻的主要类型有哪些?《中华的故事》中多模态隐转喻如何实现意义共建?《中华的故事》展现了怎样的中国国家形象?研究发现:一、基于莱考夫...
