概念隐喻理论视角下英汉味觉词的对比研究

  从古到今,隐喻研究一直都是中外学者关注的热门话题,其研究历史源远流长,研究内容越来越专业化、科学化和规范化。人类世界充满了隐喻,它是我们赖以生存的认知手段,通过将人们熟知的概念结构投射到新概念领域,帮助我们更加简单、轻松地认识世界、理解世界,让语言更加生动与多元。词汇研究在语言研究中始终占有重要位置,而味觉词建立在人类共同的体验基础之上,是对味道的本能生理反应,是人类生活中频繁出现和使用的语言现象,是获取信息和认识世界的重要渠道,属于词汇系统中的重要子系统。本文以概念隐喻理论为基础,选取英汉基本味觉词汇“酸、甜、苦、辣”为研究对象,结合多个英汉权威语料库,通过搜集和观察大量语料,发现英汉味觉词经历了类似词义演变过程,均由最初简单地描述感受器官受到化学物质刺激后在味觉中枢引起的感觉,逐渐地发展出许多含有丰富文化积淀的引申义,饮食之“味”与生理、心理、精神情感及整个文化形态产生了多元融合和跨域映射。本文创新性地运用莱考夫隐喻分类方法对英汉味觉隐喻进行归纳和对比研究,系统深入地分析了英汉味觉词在不同语境中的基本义、引申义、隐喻类型及特征,梳理了其概念异同,剖析了其所承载的传统思维和文化精神,...
