接受美学视角下的儿童文学翻译:《查理和巧克力工厂》两个中译本比较

  近几十年来,有关文学翻译的理论与研究取得了长足的进步和发展,然而作为文学翻译的一个分支,儿童文学的翻译研究却少有人问津。随着国际交往的日益密切,儿童文学作品翻译的数量逐年上升,但其总体质量不高。儿童文学作品翻译的实践和理论发展极不平衡。因此,迫切需要开展对儿童文学翻译的深入研究,为其实践寻求理论上的指导。 本文旨在尝试把接受美学应用到儿童文学翻译的研究中,证明它在儿童文学翻译研究上的可行性,为儿童文学的翻译研究提供更广阔的视角。本文选取了罗尔德·达尔著名的儿童文学作品《查理和巧克力工厂》的两个具有代表性的中文译本,根据接受美学的观点,即读者的地位、期待视野、审美距离以及文本的不确定性,通过将接受美学理论与译本相结合,从语言层次、修辞层次以及文化层次对其进行了对比分析,从而提出儿童文学翻译技巧。即译者应采用口语化的语言,简单的句子结构,形象化的表达方式以及运用一定的翻译策略减少文化差异。本文的目的不是评断两种译本孰优孰劣,而是希望对以后儿童文学翻译在理论和实践方面的发展有所促进。 通过对比分析,本文得出结论:译者在翻译儿童文学作品时,应以儿童为导向,只有吸引了读者参与阅读,既...
