改写理论视角下的《东方杂志》（1904-1927）翻译小说选材研究

期刊杂志为二十世纪初翻译文学的传播做出了巨大的贡献。其中《东方杂志》作为中国近现代期刊史上首屈一指的综合性期刊，为翻译文学的发表，提供了良好的平台。然而遗憾的是，迄今为止对该杂志在文学翻译方面的贡献一直缺乏深入研究。安德鲁·勒菲弗尔(André Lefevere)提出的翻译理论认为，翻译并不是在真空中进行的，其会受到接受环境诸多社会因素的制约和操控，源文信息会根据目的语社会的需要而被筛选过滤。翻译研究不应拘囿于语言层面的转换，它涉及从选材到接受以及产生的影响整个过程。本论文限于篇幅，主要对处于历史转折时期的《东方杂志》翻译选材进行深入分析，探讨其嬗变的根本原因。 本文经过对《东方杂志》翻译小说选材的国别，作者和选题等数据的分析，发现其选材在两个不同时期呈现明显的差别，继而论证了勒菲弗尔译论的普适性，翻译选材受社会意识形态的操控。第一时期（1904-1919）处于清末民初的社会变革社会需求，文学作品多选自于西方强国，且选材呈现启蒙特点。第二时期（1920-1927）随着俄国十月革命的胜利和五四运动的爆发，革新后的《东方杂志》不仅翻译小说数量激增，而且更加注重译介人道主义文学与揭露社会现实...
