From Paper to Electronic: How Technology Will Shape the Futu

涵盖词典编纂和词典研究两方面工作的词典学作为一门有超过五百年历史的独立学科,在其发展过程中形成了一套具有本学科特色的学术传统和方法规律,其中不少都是建立在词典是印刷在纸张介质上这一基本前提之上的。然而随着信息技术浪潮的推动,各式各样的电子词典产品正在为更多的人所接受,大有逐渐取代传统纸质词典的趋势。这种新情况对词典学中一些传统的理论和实践构成了巨大的冲击。电子词典的浪潮能够修正这些传统的理论和实践吗?信息技术会对未来的词典有怎样的影响?未来的词典学将会由什么样的理论和实践活动组成呢?本论文试图在这些问题上进行研究和提出自己的观点。论文首先对跟纸介质息息相关的传统词典学做了简短的回顾,然后对电子词典领域进行了一次全面的考察,介绍了桌面电子词典、掌上电子词典和在线电子词典等几类有代表性的电子词典品种,着重讲述了它们跟纸质词典的不同之处,并对各自的优劣得失进行了评述。在对新旧变化有所了解之后,本论文尝试描绘出了信息技术和词典学将如何在互动之中,同时结合着相关语言学及用户体验方面的理论,共同提出未来电子词典的最佳实践标准。该最佳实践标准有两个重要组成部分：其理想的硬件是一个类似iPad一样的集...
