从《香港末代总督彭定康》看协同翻译质量管理

　　在经济全球化和社会信息化的背景下,翻译市场的业务增长迅速。然而,传统的多人合作人工翻译由于缺乏有效沟通和管理不善,造成项目进度,翻译质量和交付等方面出现这样或那样的问题。本文以The Last Governor Chris Patten and the Handover of Hong Kong的中译版本《香港末代总督彭定康》为例本,详述中文译本存在术语翻译错误,翻译不一致和句子翻译错误的三个主要问题。针对这些问题,作者在第三章中讲述了如何用现代翻译技术与工具解决上述问题。通过SDL MultiTerm和SDL Trados Studio建立术语库和翻译记忆库,可以解决翻译不一致的问题；通过利用ApSIC Xbench可以提高审阅的效率,避免漏译。第四章将从翻译质量计划、质量监控和质量保证三方面来讲述如何进行协同翻译的质量管理。有效利用机器辅助翻译（CAT）工具及翻译质量管理技术能够保证术语、风格的一致性。作者总结出一系列的流程和步骤,以确保交付译文的质量。最后,作者改译了《香港末代总督彭定康》的第九章：千古罪人—北京政府与香港总督的对抗,并提供了改译文本。
