纪实翻译理论在《乌龟教会了我们什么》英译汉实践中的应用

　　本文是关于哲学文本《乌龟教会了我们什么》一书第三章《宗教哲学:宗教信仰》的英译汉实践报告。根据赖斯的文本类型学说,所选文本可归为信息类文本。信息类文本的翻译注重原文信息内容在译文中的再现,基于这一点,本文以克里斯蒂娜·诺德提出的纪实翻译为理论指导,运用逐词对应翻译、语文学翻译和异化翻译等方法行之有效地解决了原文词汇、语法、语义及文化层面信息转换的难题。处理术语、源语惯用语及中英文句式差异时,译者运用逐词对应翻译,以自然地道的译语忠实传达原文信息,再现原文词汇;处理文化负载词时,使用语文学翻译,不仅为目标语读者提供理解原文所应具备的背景知识,还提高了他们对源语语言文化的了解;对于原文中的文化现象,使用异化翻译,可以使读者在读译文时感受异国文化,满足他们对异域文化的好奇。运用纪实翻译理论,可以有效地在目的语文本中再现原文本词汇、句子及文化等层面的信息,该理论对于如《乌龟教会了我们什么》的信息类文本的翻译具有切实的指导意义。
