长沙城乡初中生英语影子教育的对比研究

课外补习,被人们形象的称为“影子教育”,是主流学校教育的一种补充形式,不断模仿主流学校,主要是以提高学生的学业成绩为教学目标。随着全民教育消费水平的提高,学生、家长、学校及社会对学生的课外补习有了更高的要求,因此,影子教育在城乡地区皆有极大的发展。在所有的科目中,英语是学生必学的一门课程。对初中生来说,英语更是作为考试的必选重点科目,其得分的高低直接影响班级、年级排名。同时,英语学科作为语言类科目,有其特殊性,绝大部分家庭教育都缺失了英语辅导。英语作为应试教育的产物,家长的英语水平普遍不高,即使是大学学历的家长也不足以辅导低层次的英语学习,家长只能试图寻求影子教育的帮助。另外,由于家长无法提供英语辅导和帮助,部分家长为减轻自身负担、填补学生空白时间,转而投向影子教育机构。因此,英语在影子教育中占有较大的比重。本研究主要以长沙地区为例,采用SPSS定量分析的统计方法,选取其市区公立中学和乡村公立中学的初二年级的学生为调查对象。通过向这两所学校的初二学生分别发放调查问卷,各发放6个班的学生,其中城市学生有287位,农村学生有270位,以及还通过实地与学生家长访谈的方式搜集数据,旨在比较城乡...
