底特律的衰落对非裔底特律人带来的影响

【摘要】：本文主要讨论了底特律的衰落以及衰落给底特律的非裔美国人带来哪些至关重要的影响。需要特别注意的是本篇论文中的底特律特指的是底特律市区，而非整个大底特律都会区。根据所掌握的数据和资料，本文首先从几个方面分析了底特律的前世今生，主要包括底特律的开端、发展、衰落等方面对底特律有个全面的认识了解,并重点剖析了底特律衰落的工业原因和种族原因。其次，从非裔底特律人的角度出发，通过对底特律黑人的境遇在底特律衰落之前与衰落期间进行对比研究发现，呈现出的变化很明显地反映了底特律的衰落对非裔底特律人带来深刻的影响，总体的趋势是随着底特律的衰落,黑人境遇每况愈下。黑人的到来为底特律的繁荣做出了不可磨灭的贡献，衰落后黑人在就业、住房和教育上面临的隔离更加严重，随之而来的是高失业率、高犯罪率、吸毒人数和艾滋病病毒携带者人数较多的问题，文章最后指出面临困境，底特律市政府，密歇根州政府和联邦政府曾经努力重振底特律，但是由于对黑人的措施处理不当，使黑人处于更加悲惨的境地。之后作者又提出几条改善底特律黑人境遇的几项可行性建议，例如美化黑人社区，给黑人提供更多的就业机会，最重要的是要促进种族间的融合。文章运用了比较分析的研究方法，探讨了底特律衰落与黑人生存状况之间的关系问题。其次，从历史角度的综述的部分主要采用了文献研究法，使文章中的事实陈述有理有据。
