《剑桥英语史》第三卷（5.6-6.2节）汉译实践报告

　　本报告基于《剑桥英语史》第三卷第五章第六节及第六章第一、第二节的翻译实践。翻译材料涉及语义变化的原因及方式、早期现代英语时间段的划分、英语变体的分类、标准英语的形成等。原文属于学术型文章,对原文进行汉译具有深刻的意义,广大英语爱好者及英语研究者可从中了解15世纪后期至18世纪后期英语的发展概况。报告以维奈和达贝尔内的翻译模式为指导,该模式包含直接翻译与间接翻译两种策略,直接翻译中包含借词、仿造、直译三种“程式”,间接翻译包含转换、调节、等值和改编四种“程式”。在该模式的指导下,笔者试图忠实还原原作信息和文化色彩,准确传达原文学术研究成果。同时力求句子通顺流畅,提高译文的可读性。报告分为五个章节,第一章简要介绍项目背景、英语史国内外研究概况、英语史相关文献汉译研究概况及翻译实践的意义;第二章阐述译前准备活动,包括对原文本的分析以及平行文本的概括;第三章介绍维奈和达贝尔内的翻译模式以及用于指导本报告的可行性;第四章案例分析是本文的主要部分,从翻译模式包含的各个程式依次对案例进行分析;最后一章对报告进行总结。
