《人类能源史》（第十七章）翻译实践报告

　　本翻译报告原文选自《人类能源史》第十七章。这本书展示了能源转变的过程:从木材到煤炭,石油代替煤炭,如今转向天然气、核能和可再生能源。本次翻译实践报告的目的是运用卡特福德转换理论解决翻译过程中的翻译难点。第十七章的文本属于科技文本,半技术性和技术性词汇以及许多长句和复合句是本报告的翻译难点。通过译者对文本的分析,对技术性词汇以及其它词汇采取注解及翻译转换方法完成,长句以及复合句采取拆分、转换等翻译方法完成。本翻译报告共有六章。第一章简要介绍了翻译报告的背景、意义和结构。第二章主要介绍作者的背景、原文的主要内容,出版信息以及语言特点。第三章介绍了指导理论。第四章分析翻译难点。第五章为案例分析,并提出相应的翻译方法。第六章总结了翻译过程中获得的启发和解决的问题。通过本次翻译实践,笔者深刻理解科技文本翻译必须了解相关的专业知识,采用恰当的翻译方法,准确传达科技文本的意义。此外,笔者学到了语言外的知识,但还应加强中英文双语的学习。
