纽马克交际翻译理论指导下对社科文本《加勒比海岸的白人特征、婚礼和旅游》（节选）的英译汉研究

　　20世纪以来,伴随着全球化的发展,各国之间的文化交流日益频繁,其中学术交流占据了重要的地位,我国也因此引进了大量学术论文。社科类文本为人们认识世界、改造世界提供了依据,是学术论文的重要组成部分。目前学术界对社科文本汉译的研究主要集中在标题和摘要两部分,而对翻译英文社科文本的主体内容缺乏探索:同时,少数对社科文本主体部分的翻译研究,没有充分考虑到社会科学文本所独具的文本特点。社科文本属于传递资讯、观点占语言功能主导地位的文本,按照纽马克的文本分类,属于典型的信息型文本。因此,译文在语言应用上的相对自由性以及对文本内容传达的精准性要求为翻译工作带来了巨大的挑战。除此之外,社科文本独具的互文性决定了其具有背景信息繁杂,多采用长而复杂的内嵌句等特点。对此,本文选取了《加勒比海岸的白人特征、婚礼和旅游》第二章节作为翻译材料,并就笔者的译文从词汇、句法和语篇三大层面阐述交际翻译理论指导下社科文本翻译的难点与特点,总结了相应的翻译策略。因此,提高目标语读者的阅读体验,将英文社科文本原文译成通顺自然、朴实明了的中文成为了笔者在翻译时追求的目标,而本文提出的翻译策略也为日后社科文本翻译提供了参考。
