There-be构式隐喻拓展的认知研究

存在句是语言中普遍存在的语言现象。从语法的角度看,存在句是一种特殊而复杂的句式。然而它的语义本质的限制性和语用性,引起了众多语言学家的兴趣。并且已取得很多成果。英语存在句的句法研究一直是学界探讨的焦点,存在句最常见的结构是:There+be+NP+locative expression(+temporal expression),表示某处有某人或某物。在语言学界的研究史上,描写语言学、生成语言学和功能语言学都曾对这一语言现象There-be句型进行过深入的研究。基于以前学者的大量研究,该论文以存在句的隐喻性拓展为切入点,基于构式语法理论把There-be存在句置于构式语法的框架下,采用认知语言学的范畴化,概念隐喻和意象图式等理论,来揭示There-be构式隐喻拓展的动因和机制。关于There-be构式隐喻拓展动因的研究,本文主要从三方面来研究:第一方面是基于体验性认知,概念结构来自于人类的身体体验,there-be构式也不例外,人们不仅能体验到它的基本意义也能体验到它的隐喻意义;第二方面是基于本体隐喻,认知主体可以在想象思维的支配下,将没有明确边界的非物理实体识解为具体的物理实体,其背...
