布迪厄社会学视角下的学生口译员资本和惯习研究

本研究从社会学视角出发,采用布尔迪厄社会学的资本-惯习理论,参照布尔迪厄对“资本”和“惯习”的定义和划分指标,对口译研究学术型硕士和英语口译翻译硕士的“资本”和“惯习”进行实证调查,旨在探究二者的资本和惯习类型、结构特征、共性和差异。本研究主要采用实证分析法,通过问卷和个人访谈收集数据,从译员个人信息、译员资本、译员惯习等方面分析数据。本研究对象来自于华东某地区高校的20名口译研究学术型硕士和42名英语口译翻译硕士研究生。研究结果如下:口译研究学术型硕士和英语口译翻译硕士均拥有一定量的文化资本,具备进入翻译场域竞争的基本条件,但社会资本和象征资本明显不足,译员资本结构欠缺平衡,资本类型较为单一;实践型翻译硕士比学术型专业硕士持有更多文化资本,具体表现为实践型翻译硕士在内化资本和体制化资本方面略优于学术型专业硕士,而二者在物化资本方面无明显差异,均缺乏译作和学术成果等物化资本;学术型专业硕士和实践型翻译硕士均持有较好的语言能力、口译技巧及跨文化交际能力等内化资本但对于如Trados等翻译工具的使用均不熟练;与学术型专业硕士相比,实践型翻译硕士持有翻译职业资格证书的比例更高;学术型专业硕士...
