接口假说视角下中国英语学习者冠词习得的实证研究

  中国英语学习者的语言产出中普遍存在非目标语形式的对错交替和反复不定。语言学家最近指出,学习者所面临的挑战来自于语言习得过程中与接口有关的各种知识。本研究试图继续从接口角度出发,考察中国英语学习者在习得冠词过程中面临的困难的成因。本研究采用诱导产出任务和强制选择任务,以三组处于不同英语水平的82名中国英语学习者为研究对象,考察了冠词句法语义接口和句法语用接口知识的习得难度。两个任务得到的数据依照句法语义接口的冠词类指用法,以及句法语用接口中各语用语境的冠词选择进行了独立分析。本研究结果表明:(1)由于受母语的影响,低水平英语学习者未能完全掌握冠词的句法语义接口知识,但该接口的冠词类指用法最终能被中、高水平学习者习得。(2)然而对于冠词的句法语用接口,即使是高水平英语学习者,也难以完全掌握该接口知识。本研究指出了某些潜在因素似乎影响学习者的冠词选择,如英语学习者的语言能力、母语的影响、学习者的加工策略以及接口知识的习得。研究发现,句法语义接口的习得难度受母语迁移影响,而句法语用接口受认知加工的影响。本研究的实验结果指出了用实证研究探索接口假说视角下英语冠词习得的重要性,且对英语冠词的课堂教...
