TED演讲中语用预设的交际语境顺应研究

预设作为语言学研究中的重要课题,是指说话人在谈话前对交际双方的已知信息做出的假定。一般而言,预设分为语义预设和语用预设。语义预设涉及真值关系,而语用预设的研究将交际中的语境因素考虑在内。Stalnaker于1970年首次提出语用预设这一概念,他认为预设不仅是判断语句真假值的逻辑问题,还与语境、说话人和听话人有关。研究表明,预设对语境十分敏感,与其在交际中的使用密不可分。在言语交际过程中,语用预设不仅是涉及语言结构本身的一种语言现象,而且是说话者发挥主体性,组织话语过程中的基础环节,因而,语用预设的使用和理解都要结合具体的语境。近年来,许多学者从多个角度研究语用预设策略,包括其在各种类型语篇中的应用,例如广告、文学作品、翻译、公共演讲等。对于演讲语篇,政治演讲、总统竞选演讲中的语用预设研究数不胜数。但是,从TED演讲中选取语料进行语用预设研究并不多见,尤其是运用顺应理论分析TED演讲中语用预设现象更是几乎没有。因此,本文试图以交际顺应理论为理论基础,以TED官网下载的2013年到2018年的30篇演讲为研究语料,通过分析其中语用预设的应用实例,并探讨语用预设的功能,旨在揭示TED演讲中的...
