基于语料库的政府记者招待会汉英口译中话语标记语的应用研究

本研究旨在通过分析对比标记语的应用情况来加强对政府记者招待会汉英口译本质的了解,研究过程中使用了上海交通大学胡开宝教授领衔的团队所研制的汉英会议口译语料库(CECIC)。本研究采用了语料库驱动的途径,比较了CECIC三个子库间对比标记语的频数以及译者在翻译含有对比标记语的语段时所采取的不同翻译策略的分布情况。对结果进行定性分析后发现,口译文本较原创文本体现出隐化和语义层面上的繁化,因此存在语际隐化和语义繁化的现象。口译文本相比笔译文本更为显化和语义简化。就显化/隐化和简化/繁化的而言,口译文本和其原文间并未观测到显著差异。在翻译含有对比标记语的语段时,口译员最倾向于对等翻译,且其使用对应翻译的频率显著高于笔译员的使用频率。无论是口译员还是笔译员都更倾向于在翻译时添加而不是略去对比标记语,且笔译员相比口译员更为频繁地使用添加对比标记语的翻译策略。政府记者招待会上的口译员一般都被要求忠实、准确地进行翻译,此外口译员需要契合口译活动发起者的期望从而维持自身被认可的口译员身份,因此译文较原文在显化/隐化和简化/繁化程度方面并无明显差异。中国政府举办的记者招待会更为正式而美国方面举办的记者招待会...
