柏拉图主义与新柏拉图主义美学理论批评比较

【摘要】：柏拉图是古希腊著名的哲学家、政治家、教育家和诗人,是西方美学和诗学的开创者和奠基人。他所创立的柏拉图主义是西方哲学史上第一个完整的客观唯心主义学派。新柏拉图主义则是紧追柏拉图的文艺思想并对其进行新的诠释的哲学流派。本文在分别分析柏拉图和新柏拉图主义者(选取普罗提诺,圣·奥古斯丁和叔本华为代表进行分析)的代表作品和美学思想的基础上,辩证地对两者的美学理论进行比较。 文章将以新柏拉图主义对柏拉图主义的继承,发展和革新为重点探讨西方文学理论尤其是美学理论的扬弃性发展。两种文艺思潮均在美学领域提出深刻见解且这些理论的提出和作者所处社会背景和阶级地位密切相关,因此带有不可磨灭的阶级烙印。具体对比分析两者美学理论的异同,揭示西方古典文论中柏拉图美学理论的发展进程及其与社会文化和历史背景的千丝万缕的联系,从而阐述两者在世界美学史的重要地位,对后世的深远影响及在现当代被赋予的新的价值所在。
