从目的论看《红高粱家族》英译本中文化负载词的翻译策略

　　本文旨从目的论视角出发，探讨《红高粱家族》葛浩文译本中文化负载词的翻译策略与方法的具体应用及合理性。文化负载词是指某种文化中特有的词，词组和习语，其具有鲜明的民族性和典型性。如何把这些具有丰富文化内涵的词、词组翻译成目的语，并让读者充分、正确地了解源语文化，一直是译界所研究的重要课题。产生于上个世纪70年代的德国功能派认为翻译是一种行为，并且是一种目的行为。其中心理论—目的论的创始者费米尔认为，翻译是为某种目的及目的读者而产生的文本，即决定翻译过程的最主要因素是整体翻译行为的目的。因此，翻译的目的对翻译策略的选择具有极大的制约性。归化和异化是翻译文化负载词的两种主要翻译策略。这两种策略的选择一直是翻译界争论的焦点。而目的论视角则为这两种翻译方法的选择提供了一个合理及可行的理论指导。通过对葛浩文《红高粱家族》译本中文化负载词翻译策略及方法的分析，笔者认为在讨论文化内容翻译策略时应考虑译者的目的。翻译目的决定其采取的具体翻译方法。
