图里翻译规范理论下的周作人儿童文学翻译研究

  五四时期,周作人与胡适、鲁迅一起被称为新文化运动中的三大文学巨匠。他不仅是一位伟大的散文家,也是有名的翻译家。翻译活动贯穿了他的一生,构成了他文学世界的“半壁江山”。在周作人的文学翻译生涯中,儿童文学翻译是其重要的组成部分。作为儿童文学翻译家,他成熟的儿童文学翻译作品不是一蹴而就的,其中无不体现出当时的主流翻译规范运作的痕迹,以及译者对这些规范做出的反应。本文以描写翻译学派学者图里的翻译规范理论为基础,将周作人的儿童文学翻译实践还原到当时的社会文化背景中考察。从规范理论的视角研究周作人的儿童文学翻译观的形成过程,并且通过对晚清与五四时期主流翻译规范的梳理,探讨周作人的儿童文学翻译与主流翻译规范的互动。最后,本文还通过这一个案研究讨论了图里翻译规范理论的不足。本研究得出以下结论:1.为了提供适合儿童阅读的译作,周作人认为儿童文学翻译必须以儿童为本位,具体体现在翻译语言、文本选择、目标读者以及翻译方法等方面。2.从晚清到五四时期,周作人的儿童文学翻译观逐渐走向成熟。一方面,他的儿童文学翻译实践受到主流翻译规范的限制。另一方面,他也在不断突破这些规范的限制。对翻译规范的越界,导致了其译作没有...
