顺应论视域下《檀香刑》英译本的译者主体性研究

  随着中国各方面的快速发展,中国文学在国际舞台上大放异彩。作为中国第一位诺贝尔文学奖的获得者,莫言功不可没。莫言作为一名优秀多产的作家,创作了很多具有研究价值的文学作品。《檀香刑》是他的长篇代表作之一,主要讲述了19世纪初发生在山东高密县的一起残酷的行刑事件。汉学家葛浩文翻译的《檀香刑》译本在2013年出版后,受到很多学者的关注和喜爱。很多学者对其进行了不同角度的研究。本文试图从顺应论的角度对《檀香刑》英译本的译者主体性进行研究。顺应论主要包括四个研究维度,即语境顺应、结构顺应、动态顺应和意识顺应程度。但是从这四个研究维度的关系来看,顺应的意识凸显程度占据主导地位,它支配着其它三个角度。或者说顺应的意识性决定顺应的动态性,从而决定了结构顺应和语境顺应,因为结构顺应和语境顺应是动态顺应的内容和具体表现形式。所以本文侧重研究顺应论的具体表现形式:结构顺应和语境顺应。顺应论指出:使用语言是不断做出选择的过程,而翻译活动作为一种语言使用,译者在考虑诸多因素后在翻译活动中也要不断做出选择,这种选择既体现了译者的主动性和创造性,又体现译者对目标语和目标语读者的顺应。由此也为文学翻译的研究提供了不同的...
