女性主义翻译理论视角下《飘》李美华译本的译者主体性研究

  美国著名长篇小说《飘》塑造了坚强乐观、自强不息的新女性形象,描绘了郝思嘉在一系列挫折中通过不懈的坚持和努力,改变了个人和整个家族的命运。自1936年问世以来,《飘》就得到了读者们的广泛关注,成为美国最畅销的小说之一,并于1937年获得普利策奖,在世界上被翻译成29种文字,总共销售近3000万册,因此对该小说进行研究具有重要的价值。女性翻译研究强调提高女性和译文的地位,抵抗传统性别观念中对女性的不公,打破传统翻译观念中“作者-译者”、“原作-译作”的二元对立,实现女性地位的独立和提升,有利于女性主义思想的传播。在众多《飘》的中译本中,李美华译本很好地体现了女性主义思想和女性主义翻译策略,因此,笔者选取女性主义翻译理论为理论指导,对《飘》李美华译本中的译者主体性进行研究。论文发现,译者李美华在翻译《飘》原著的过程中通过恰当的女性主义翻译策略体现了她作为女性译者的女性主义意图,实现了抵抗传统性别歧视,提高译文地位,突出译者显性的目的。论文认为:译者李美华在翻译该著作时所发挥的译者主体性主要体现在她采用了“增补”、“劫持”、“添加前言和脚注”的女性主义翻译策略,抵抗了传统性别观念中对女性的不公...
