《冷山》中的人类主题性关注

　　与美国文学史上的一些文学巨匠们写的经典著作相比较而言，查尔斯·弗雷泽的《冷山》（1997）仅仅只能算是诞生于消费时代与速食文化之中的一本新书而已。然而，不管是被欣赏亦或是被贬低，就是这样一本新书却显而易见的确赢得了成功。在它出版后不久，即有许多评论家对之做出了大量评论。出版同年即获得了美国国家图书奖的事实更进一步地证明了小说本身具有一定的内在价值。尽管这本小说至今还不确定是否在美国文学的舞台上可否占有一个稳固且卓越的地位，但是它已经引起了笔者的注意，令其投入了大量的时间与精力去进行阅读和研究，并希望可以与其他读者分享其研究所得。 首先，《冷山》一书的快速成功和在评论界受到的普遍欢迎是有很多潜在原因的，比如，小说巧妙的文字运用，小说所描述的独特的浪漫爱情故事。笔者在本文中将要重点探讨的是文学作品的一个基本元素—主题。在笔者看来，这本小说包涵着多层含义，一些是读者很容易就可以感受得到的，而有一些却不是那么明确。针对前者，本文将试着比表面认知更深入地来将其呈现；针对后者，本文将从学术角度对之进行分析挖掘。由于论文篇幅有限，笔者把笔墨集中在了小说主题的一个方面，也即，主题中对人类的关注，...
