《夜色温柔》之艺术：写作风格与叙事技巧的陌生化

　　《夜色温柔》被认为是费·司各特·菲茨杰拉德第二部经典之作。《夜色温柔》一发表后,评论家们的意见就不相统一。有些评论家持否定态度,主要是因为其结构混乱,故事情节带有过多的自传色彩。但也有少数几位评论家对这部小说予以称道,其中小说给予了中肯的评价。由于它的主题、结构和时间顺序,小说出版后很长一段时间内很不受欢迎。同时,还遇到许多不利的批评。其非时间顺序的结构受到了严重的攻击,因为它令读者费解。但是,经过仔细阅读不难发现《夜色温柔》在内容和结构上都是一部具有鲜明特征的作品。在内容方面,菲茨杰拉德引用了济慈《夜莺颂》中诗句“夜色温柔”为题目,该题目与诗歌及作品的内容有着密切的联系。主题上,作者采用了浪漫主义手法来表现“美国梦”的破灭。在结构方面,菲茨杰拉德采用多视角展开故事的叙述。并采用对比的叙述手法呈现出主人公命运悲剧的原因。本文采用俄国形式主义理论家什克洛夫斯基的陌生化理论来解读《夜色温柔》的内容和结构艺术效果。其中包括主题表现的陌生化,结构的陌生化,时间顺序的陌生化,叙事角度的陌生化。本文形式主义中陌生化角度理解作品的文学创作价值,使小说更能呈现出文学艺术的效果。本论文第一章首先论述了陌...
