论戴维·洛奇“校园小说”三部曲的转喻与隐喻话语模式

英国当代小说家兼批评家戴维·洛奇表现出对形式主义批评的情有独钟,其强烈的自觉意识使他在校园小说三部曲的创作过程中更加注重小说的结构形式。到目前为止,虽然对其校园小说艺术性的研究已取得了不少成果,但从转喻与隐喻话语的角度对其进行研究尚未有涉及。洛奇深谙转喻与隐喻话语理论,曾在理论著述中对其进行研究,从某种意义上说,他的小说便是他的转喻与隐喻话语理论阐述的文本实践。本论文以洛奇有关转喻与隐喻话语理论的阐述为基础,以最能代表洛奇创作成就的三部校园小说——《换位》、《小世界》和《美好的工作》——为研究对象,考察其中转喻与隐喻话语模式的具体表现形式,并对这一话语模式如何有效地服务主题进行探讨,以获得对洛奇校园小说结构模式较为深入的认识。戴维·洛奇以转喻与隐喻话语理论的艺术性运用这一独特的方式书写了他对世界的理解。本论文由五章组成。第一章主要对转喻话语与隐喻话语的研究尤其洛奇在这一方面的研究进行梳理,并在考察了对洛奇校园小说研究现状的基础上,提出了用转喻与隐喻话语这一理论对洛奇校园小说的结构模式进行分析的整体思路及其意义。第二章着重分析《换位》中所蕴含的转喻与隐喻话语模式。结果发现,这部小说以转喻...
