《鲁滨逊漂流记》，《白鲸》和《老人与海》中海洋的蕴涵和启示

本论文着手研究三篇海洋作品,分别是丹尼尔·笛福的《鲁滨逊漂流记》,赫尔曼·麦尔维尔的《白鲸》和欧内斯特·海明威的《老人与海》。到目前为止,在国内外对三部作品独立研究的论文很多,但研究的重点通常是放在三部作品中主人公形象剖析上,因此研究的范围显得比较狭窄。 本论文是第一次对《鲁滨逊漂流记》,《白鲸》和《老人与海》采取比较的方法进行系统的研究。该研究主要是从海洋内涵,人类在与海洋斗争相互作用过程中所展示出的人类精神,社会背景和与主题有关的写作技巧等方面对三部作品进行了比较,既展示了三部作品总体特征,又揭示了它们的个性以及在英美文学中的关联性。 本论文分为五章。 第一章介绍三部作品的基本情况。三部作品故事情节都较简单,没有过多悬念,人物形象刻画和环境描写是作品重心。三部作品在英美文学长河中占有重要地位。 第二章介绍小说的背景。三部作品不约而同的把海洋作为故事的背景.海洋把三部不同时期的作品联系了起来。但是海洋分别被赋予了不同特点和含义。在《鲁滨逊漂流记》中,海洋被赋予原始世界的自然状态的含义,还带有神秘色彩,在《白鲸》中,海洋呈现出超自然和神性特点。在《老人与海》中,...
