奥斯卡·王尔德喜剧中修辞手段的运用及其中译本比较

众所周知,戏剧翻译是文学翻译的重要组成部分,但无论从广度还是深度上,国内外翻译界对其翻泽理论与实践的研究都明显不足。针对这一现状,本文引入关联理论,并通过对英国著名剧作家奥斯卡·王尔德喜剧《理想丈夫》四个中文译本的比较分析,探讨了该理论对戏剧翻译的适用性及具体应用,并在此基础上,提出戏剧翻译应遵循的四大原则,以实现最佳关联。普遍观点认为,戏剧翻译理论的欠缺及翻译中的困难是由戏剧本质的二元性造成的,即戏剧既是一种文学艺术同时又是一种表演艺术。如何最大限度地兼顾二者,达到阅读与表演的双重目的是译者必须面对的难题。关联理论是一种从认知角度研究交际的语用理论,其核心概念是关联,认为最佳关联是人们遵循的交际原则。虽然该理论不是针对翻译提出的,却对翻译有很强的解释力。本文试图将关联理论应用于戏剧翻译,并将最佳关联作为戏剧翻译的最终目标。全文共由五个章节构成:第一章对戏剧进行了探讨,包括戏剧本质的二元性,戏剧语言特点及戏剧翻译,并在此基础上分析了戏剧翻译的矛盾。第二章引入了关联理论,着重介绍了该理论的核心概念,及其在理论上对翻译的解释力。第三章简单回顾了英国著名剧作家奥斯卡·王尔德的生平,中国的王尔...
