艾丽丝·沃克《紫颜色》的妇女主义视角解读

艾丽丝·沃克是当代美国文坛上最有影响的作家之一。她的小说《紫颜色》不仅使她成了美国历史上第一位获得普利策文学奖的黑人女作家,而且使她提倡的以“百衲被”为象征的妇女主义文学思想誉满全球。艾丽丝·沃克的妇女主义思想有四个鲜明的特征,即反对性别主义,反对种族主义,非洲中心主义和人文主义,这些特征在《紫颜色》中得到了集中体现。本文拟从黑人女性的生存困境、不屈不挠的抗争、生存策略和永不泯灭的希望四个方面阐释《紫颜色》所蕴涵的妇女主义特征。全文共分七个部分。引言部分简单介绍了艾丽丝·沃克在现代美国文学史上的地位、她的代表作《紫颜色》以及她所倡导的妇女主义文学思想,指出该小说体现了沃克妇女主义文学思想的四大特征。第一章为文献综述。本章第一节集中阐述了国内外对《紫颜色》的研究现状。国内外学者从多个方面对艾丽丝·沃克的《紫颜色》进行了解读和分析,但这些解读大多是从小说的主题、人物刻画、女性主义或者后殖民主义文学批评、伦理批评以及原型分析等角度进行的,还未有人运用妇女主义文学批评理论全面讨论作品中黑人女性的困境、抗争、生存以及她们的希望。第二节阐述了本文的理论框架,包括妇女主义文学批评的起源、理论核心以及...
