戏剧《苹果车》的语用研究

  运用语用学的相关理论来研究文学作品,从而产生了一门新的生命力较强的交叉学科——文学语用学或语用文体学。戏剧是文学作品中的一个重要组成部分和特殊表现形式,主要依靠戏剧语言推动情节发展和展现人物性格。语用学理论对文学作品有很强的解释性,尤其适用于解读戏剧中的对白和小说中的对话。《苹果车》是萧伯纳晚年时期的作品,是其政治幻想剧的代表作,但他晚年的作品没有得到应有的重视。本文将运用语用学的两大主要理论,即格莱斯的合作原则理论以及利奇和布朗、莱文森的礼貌原则理论来解读萧伯纳的戏剧《苹果车》里丰富的会话含义。本文对这两个理论进行了详细阐述,并解释了它们之间的关系,为分析会话含义和间接表达方式提供了清晰的理论框架和研究工具。美国哲学家格莱斯认为,在所有的言语交际活动中为了达到特定的目标,说话人和听话人之间存在着一种默契,一种双方都应该遵守的原则,它称之为合作原则并具体提出了四个准则。事实上,这些准则常被违反从而产生会话含义。格莱斯和会话含义自60年代末提出以来,激起了研究者的极大兴趣。但他的这个理论也有不足之处,用来解释语言现象还存在一些问题。其中之一即合作原则只解释了人们间接使用语言所产生的会话含...
