对小说《烧马棚》的功能文体分析

语言学为文体学提供理论的基础,新的语言学理论的出现都会促使新的文体理论的诞生,形式文体学、功能文体学以及话语文体学都是语言学理论在文体学上的运用。功能文体学是以韩礼德的系统功能语法为理论基础的文体学理论,它把语言看作是具有意义潜势的系统并从社会环境的层次对语言进行分析而不仅局限于语言的本身。它从韩礼德提出的三大元功能的角度分析语言,即:概念功能,人际功能和语篇功能,在现代文体学的发展中发挥着越来越重要的作用。 福克纳(1897—1962)是美国南方作家的代表人物,他的作品一直以来备受文学界的关注。福克纳作品中的意识流、多角度叙述和叙述技巧等文学手法影响了一代作家。他的作品展现了南方人特有的幽默感,深入刻画了黑人与白人的地位、相处、矛盾等敏感问题,也生动地描绘出惟妙惟肖的南方人物形象。 本文所选用的唯一的语料来源是小说《烧马棚》,是威廉·福克纳写于1939年的短篇小说,他也因为这篇小说获得了首届“欧·亨利纪念奖”,而这篇小说也被视为他的代表作之一。国内对福克纳小说的研究主要集中在《喧嚣与骚动》、《我弥留之际》、《押沙龙,押沙龙!》《八月之光》以及《艾米莉的玫瑰》上,对《烧马棚》的关注相对...
