英汉给予概念与给予句的生成与扩展对比研究

  给予概念是人们对给予事件进行概念化的结果。国内外不同语言学派的语言学家对英汉语中与“给予”有关的语言现象做了很多研究和比较,主要成果有结构主义关于双及物结构的研究,生成语法关于双宾结构的研究和构式语法关于双及物构式的研究。已有研究主要是对这类语言现象本身进行分析比较,没有论及这类语言现象的生成。本文从认知语言学的经验观出发,以原型范畴理论、概念化理论、以及隐喻和转喻理论为指导,对英汉两种语言中给予概念和给予句的生成与扩展进行了对比研究。给予是人类彼此互动和同大自然互动的一种最基本的方式,是客观世界事物之间普遍存在的关系和人类经验体系的一部分。客观世界中的给予事件经隐喻投射在人类的概念世界中生成“给予者通过给予行为给予接受者以给予物”这一给予概念。给予概念是一个原型范畴,其原型是对物理性给予事件的概念化,其非原型是对非物理性给予事件的概念化。给予概念的核心是给予行为,它决定着范畴成员的性质。据此,原型给予概念是“给予者通过物理性给予行为给予接受者以给予物,非原型给予概念是“给予者通过非物理性给予行为给予接受者以给予物”。非原型给予概念是原型给予概念扩展的结果,其扩展的主要认知机制是隐喻。...
