交际法视角下交替传译的质量评估

  口译活动是人类交际在全球化背景下一个不可或缺的重要环节,而对口译质量的评估一直以来都是一个争论颇多的话题。本论文在回顾西方学者针对口译质量评估所进行的各种实证研究的基础之上,以口译学和交际学的相关理论框架为指导,对交替传译过程、交替传译的交际属性和译员在此过程中起到的作用和承担的角色等问题进行理论层面的分析。作者在理论探讨的层面上进一步开展了实证性研究,将质量参数对交际过程的不同影响归为两类:一是交际意图的传达,包括信息的完整度和准确度、术语和相关背景知识的掌握、衔接合理和表达具有逻辑性、语用得当以及译员的临场应变能力;二是交际过程中信息表达的效果,包括表达的流畅度和清晰度、译语语法以及译员的语调和声音。作者在此基础之上运用问卷调查的方式对相关参数在交替传译中实现交际意图的重要性进行评估和排序,进而提出更有利于交际意图传递的交替传译质量评估模式。实证研究的结果说明,我们应更重视译员解读交际意图的能力,而不仅仅只看重其语言能力,口译培训应加强对译员传递交际意图能力的培养。
