    前言：我国的大多数大中型露天矿山已经或即将进入深部开采.随着边坡的加高加陡,露天边坡稳定性维护的难度和采场破坏的概率越来越大.由于矿体赋存条件的制约性,矿山边坡的变形破坏模式与地质构造特征、岩体结构特征的关系极为密切.本文通过系统地现场工程地质调查和实验研究,基本掌握了水厂铁矿的地质构造特征与工程地质条件.边坡变形破坏机理和主要破坏模式,建立了水厂铁矿高陡边坡地质模型,为采用极限平衡分析和数值模拟相结合的方法进行边坡稳定性分析和设计提供依据.
    Most of large and middle scale open-pit mines in China have reached deep mining.
