【摘要】：正因《南京大屠杀》而著名于世的美国华裔女作家张纯如2003年写过一部《在美国的华人:一部叙述史》,揭露了修建美国太平洋铁路的华人的惨痛历史,在加拿大的华人,也同样有着这样一部血泪史。一个国家的历史有很多种书写方式。不少人都觉得加拿大的存在感太低了,除了印第安原住民和欧洲最早横跨大西洋的移民外就再无历史可言。但加拿大人自己知道,他们的历史可以用一条铁路来写,这条铁路铺出了加拿大。
[Abstract]:In 2003, Zhang Chunru, a Chinese American writer famous for the Nanjing Massacre, wrote a novel "Chinese in the United States: a narrative History", which exposed the tragic history of the Chinese who built the Pacific Railway in the United States. Chinese people in Canada also have a history of blood and tears. There are many ways to write about the history of a country. Many people feel that Canada is too low a sense of existence. There is no history other than the Native Indians and the first transatlantic immigrants in Europe. But Canadians themselves know that their history can be written on a railroad that laid out Canada.
