《男性乌托邦-摧毁硅谷男性俱乐部》（第三章）翻译报告

　　作为家务的承担者和孩子的照顾者,妇女对社会的发展作出了不可估量的贡献,但妇女在职场受到的歧视与她们的付出不成正比,妇女的权益保护也越来越受到全世界的关注。《男性乌托邦——摧毁硅谷男性俱乐部》不仅介绍了商业管理的诸多案例,还揭示了硅谷职业女性遭遇的歧视和潜规则,其中的一些热点话题也在中国引起了热议。该书由Portfolio/Penguin出版社于2018年2月出版。据译者调查,目前国内尚无中文译本出版或发表。虽然作者在书中表达了自己的观点,但为了增加说服力,作者引用了大量的采访内容和行业数据,因此原文更倾向于信息类文本,语言简练客观,结构层次清晰。文章聚焦商业和科技领域,含有大量专有名词和缩略语。为保持客观,文章大量使用被动句。这些都是本次翻译的难点。作为一项社会活动,翻译具有很强的目的性,翻译目的往往决定采用的翻译方法。因此,译者采用目的论作为本次翻译任务的指导理论。该理论认为,目的对翻译方法的决定程度大于其他所有因素,因此,译者需在满足翻译目的的条件下方可考虑译文连贯性。本文从该理论的“目的原则”和“语内连贯”原则入手,探讨部分专有名词与缩略语的零翻译策略,并分析不同语境和情况下被动...
