交际翻译模式中的关系分句重构 ——以《报之以李》（节选）的汉译为例

　　笔者在此次《报之以李》的汉译中遇到了大量关系分句,关系分句是本次翻译任务的重点和难点。尽管已有不少学者对关系分句的英汉翻译进行过研究,但部分翻译方法的总结呈交叉现象,对翻译实践的指导作用稍显不足。笔者认为,关系分句的翻译不能囿于句式结构和形式上的功能。译者应摆脱句式结构的束缚,发掘从句与主句之间的逻辑关系,并在译文中体现出不同的逻辑关系。这恰好符合交际翻译的原则,即译者有权重组原文的结构,增强译文的逻辑性和可读性,以达到传递信息的目的。因此,本文以纽马克的交际翻译模式为指导,将《报之以李》中的关系分句作为研究对象,总结关系分句的翻译方法。通过翻译实践与研究,笔者分别从句法结构和语义逻辑功能两个角度总结出了八种翻译方法。句法结构角度的翻译方法包括前置法、顺译并列法、倒译并列法和独立并列法;语义逻辑功能角度的翻译方法包括译成汉语的因果复句、转折复句、承接复句和递进复句。与以往的关系分句翻译方法相比,文中的八种翻译方法更加具体,分类更加合理。
