生态翻译视角下《风味人间》汉译英字幕翻译报告

　　《风味人间》是一部优秀的饮食文化纪录片,主要讲述了丰富的中国饮食文化。2019年,该纪录片获得了中国广播电视社会组织联合会颁发的最佳纪录片奖。目前,这部优秀的纪录片还未被翻译成英文,译者希望通过字幕翻译和翻译报告的形式,来推动《风味人间》的对外传播,让更多外国观众了解并接受中国饮食文化。本翻译报告选取了《风味人间》中的三集字幕作为翻译材料,源文本兼具客观性和艺术性。基于纪录片字幕的特点以及字幕翻译的限制,译者选择了生态翻译学来指导此次翻译实践,并完成了翻译报告。该理论认为翻译是译者适应翻译生态环境的选择活动。在翻译过程中,译者需要适应原文的翻译生态环境,对译文进行选择和调整,以便译文能够适应新的语言环境。本报告分为五个部分,第一部分介绍了项目背景、报告框架、翻译过程以及意义。第二部分,译者从语言、文化和交际三个维度分析了源文本的特点。第三部分简要介绍了生态翻译学以及该理论在纪录片字幕翻译中的适用性。第四部分是案例分析部分,译者结合了字幕翻译的时空限制和声画同步性,总结了针对具体文本特点的翻译方法。在语言维度,译者选择了压缩性意译、直译和增译来翻译大量的四字词、无主语句子和缺少逻辑连接词...
