　　新闻标题被视作“新闻报道的眼睛”,它以简练的文字浓缩新闻的基本内容,提炼新闻事实精华吸引读者,在新闻报道中起着独特的作用。在当今世界,跨文化、跨国度交流愈发频繁,传媒翻译在此过程中也扮演着不可或缺的角色。传媒翻译研究以及翻译质量控制需得到广泛关注。本报告重点关注中英文新闻标题翻译,旨在为传媒翻译研究提供个人建议。基于笔者在Meltwater（一家外资新闻咨询公司）的翻译实习经验,本报告将对Meltwater新闻监测报告（双语信息服务产品）进行解读和分析,并充分展示笔者实习过程中所遇到的具体翻译案例分析、翻译问题解剖以及翻译策略规划。整体而言,本报告通过梳理并总结英文新闻标题行文规律与特点,针对不同标题翻译问题提出相应的翻译策略,指导商业用途下的新闻标题翻译,为新闻翻译贡献微薄之力。
