阐释理论视角下《山海经》两个英译本翻译策略对比研究

《山海经》作为我国上古时代的一部百科全书,目前市面上有很多不同版本的英文《山海经》,但是学术界很少对其进行翻译的研究。《山海经》已经存在了很多年,具有非常丰富的文化意义,所以需要有效的应用手段来完成不同语言之间的转换。所以对英译本中翻译策略的研究也成了一个值得探讨的课题。阐释和理解的研究被称作阐释学研究,它和翻译是紧密联系在一起的。乔治·斯坦纳于1975年率先将其和翻译相结合,并提出了包括补偿、吸收、侵入和信任在内的四大步骤作为翻译理论。根据他的理论来说,人对文章进行阐释的过程就是翻译。由于翻译的人不同就会有对原文不同的解读,进而选择不同的补偿策略进行翻译,表现为不同的译文。鉴于此,本文以斯坦纳的阐释学理论作为理论指导,选取1999年美国译者比勒尔与2010年中国译者王宏一共两个英译本为文本,从信任,侵入,吸收和补偿四个步骤出发,分别探讨两个问题:由于译者主体性的不同,在文化负载词汇和句子之间逻辑层面,所使用的翻译策略有哪些不同之处?不同的翻译策略会给读者造成什么样的阻碍或者帮助?经过大量案例分析后,研究发现两位译者在词汇和句法层面关注的重点不一样,造成翻译·策略的使用各有其优势劣势。...
