中美大学生同题写作中类/形符比对比研究

  类符和形符频率因其能有效地从使用中反映语言使用者的水平和特点,对语言学习发挥着至关重要的作用,历来是语言学界研究的热点,吸引了国内外学者广泛的讨论。国内外当前实证研究主要集中探讨中介语写作中某一特定语言现象的类符和形符频率效应或仅考察中介语类/形符水平,鲜有研究在同题条件下对中介语写作与母语写作中类/形符比存在差异的因素进行全面定性定量研究。本研究选取ICNALE(亚洲英语学习者国际语料库)中的中美大学生同题作文作为语料来源,在基于使用的语言理论框架中,比较中美学生在书面语中的词汇多样性的使用情况,探讨类/形符比在不同词类中的分布特点,分析导致类/形符比产生差异的可能因素。经过数据分析,本文研究结果如下:首先,中美大学生同题作文类/形符比的比较结果说明在词汇多样性方面,两者存在显著性差异。相较于本族语者,在词汇多样性方面中国学生确实有所不足,倾向于重复使用某一词汇。其次,各个词类的类/形符比分布证明显著性差异主要存在于代词、介词、连词、副词、和动词这几大词类上。在使用这些词类的高频类符方面,中国学生更倾向过度重复使用掌握熟练的词汇以及写作话题的关键词,其中包括虚化动词的高频使用。此外,...
