平行文本指导下的《三星堆文明》（节选）翻译报告

　　本篇报告基于译者在平行文本指导下对《三星堆文明》（节选）的英译过程所写。原文材料选自段渝、邹一清教授的《三星堆文明》前四章,内容包括古蜀王国的形成和发展、三星堆遗址的发掘,以及对神权政体的介绍。译者选取Robert Bagley教授所著Ancient Sichuan—Treasures from a Lost Civilization作为平行文本原因有二:一则,该书涉及三星堆文明的介绍,在内容上与翻译材料极其相近;二则,作者本身来自英语国家,英文写作和运用更精确和熟练。平行文本是与原文内容有关的任何参考资料。译者在翻译过程中可以通过阅读平行文本获取专业知识、借鉴表达方式以及模仿写作风格。在本篇报告中,译者通过实际案例从词汇表达、句式结构以及语篇连贯三个层面比较分析平行文本和自己的译文,旨在探讨平行文本对此次翻译实践的指导作用。通过此次翻译实践,译者不仅对三星堆青铜器产生了浓厚的兴趣,而且加深了对三星堆文明的认识。同时,译者也进一步了解了平行文本对翻译实践中的指导意义,为以后更好地运用平行文本提供一定的经验和借鉴。
