《中国三十大发明》（节选）翻译实践报告

　　本翻译实践报告基于由中国国家社会科学基金支持的《中国三十大发明》翻译项目。本次项目团队由20名成员组成,负责该书后二十个章节的英文翻译,本报告的作者负责书中《火药》和《青蒿素》这两章节的翻译。《火药》和《青蒿素》属于科技史类文本,该两章包含了大量有关中国文化、中医和科学原理的内容,译为目标语后在一定程度上会妨碍读者的理解,降低译文的接受程度。为了解决该问题,译者在翻译中采用了深度翻译的策略,旨在缩小两种文化之间的差异,同时使读者更接近文本,了解中国文化,促进文化间的交流与传播。具体来说,注释是实现深度翻译的主要方法。在添加注释的过程中,需注重文本意图和尊重源语文化。本报告将注释从形式上分为两种主要类型,即显性注释和隐性注释,再根据其内容和加注方式进一步细分三到四种小类,并进行案例分析,希望该报告能对未来的科学历史文本的英译有所启发。
