英语阅读理解测试难度影响因素研究

  《中国英语能力等级量表》为国内各种英语考试提供了科学的能力测评标准,同时,也对统一我国英语测试的难度标准和建立分级题库提出了新的要求。阅读能力测试是我国英语测试体系中很重要的一部分,其中阅读理解这一题型是测量学生阅读能力的一种最常用方法,因此实现对英语测试中阅读理解题型的难度控制是确保试题质量的关键因素。在以往的相关研究中,大多数都将文本和题目对阅读理解测试产生的影响分开来讨论,但阅读理解测试是文本和题目两者的统一体,单一地探讨其中一个方面造成的影响显然是不够全面客观的。因此,本文将文本特征和题目特征都纳入到影响阅读理解测试难度的因素之中,并将文本特征进一步细化为词汇难度、句法难度、文本难度三个维度,将题目特征定义为阅读能力要求、范围、直接程度三个维度,在此基础上构建了阅读理解测试难度影响因素的分析框架。本研究以2015年至2019年英语高考全国卷为研究对象,对其中56篇阅读理解文本和所对应的210道题目进行了实证研究,通过定性分析和定量分析相结合的方法得出了以下结论:首先,在文本特征层面上,句法难度和文本难度对阅读理解测试难度的影响作用是显著的,从他们的相关性系数(句法难度r=-0....
