中美主流媒体对“萨德事件”新闻报道的批评话语分析

批评话语分析(CDA)源于批判语言学(CL)。它将语言视为一种社会实践,从而探索语言、权力和意识形态的关系。通过描述语篇的语言特征,分析语篇生成的特定社会文化背景以及蕴含其中的意识形态。新闻语篇旨在客观公正地反映客观事实、传递准确信息,实为不同价值观和意识形态的语言表象。作为公共信息传播的主要途径,新闻语篇成为批评话语分析的主要研究对象之一。本文以中国和美国有关THAAD部署事件的新闻报道为例,以费尔克劳的三维模型为分析框架,以韩礼德的系统功能语法为分析工具。从chinadaily.com和xinhua.com网站、nytimes.com和time.com网站分别选取中英文语料。本文将通过以下三个维度:文本的描述、话语实践的阐释以及对社会因素的解释来进行分析。本文同时采用语料库分析工具Antconc 3.5和Webcorpus,以确保定量和定性研究的客观性。本研究旨在回答以下三个问题:1.文本描写层面,中国和美国媒体对THAAD部署事件的新闻话语的在词汇分类和情态系统方面存在怎样的差异?2.话语实践层面,话语策略比如转述动词、消息源是如何影响读者对事件的认识?3.在新闻语篇中所隐含的意...
