《射雕英雄传》第一卷英译本翻译策略研究

　　《射雕英雄传》第一卷英译本《英雄出世》由郝玉青于2018年译成出版,因其情节扣人心弦,侠肝义胆昭彰,一经问世,受到海外读者热捧。金庸先生实乃中国武侠小说开山鼻祖,其作品也可称为中华文化之宝库,因此金庸先生著作的外译定会助力中华文化的传播。中文经典著作的翻译向来不易,《射雕英雄传》中广博深厚的中国文化元素无疑增加了英译难度。但纵观郝玉青译本,原著精髓尽悉得到体现,取舍得当,堪称典范。苏珊·巴斯内特作为文化翻译学派领军人物,其文化翻译理论首倡文化功能对等,认为翻译的基本单位应为语言为核心的文化因素,翻译的目的是实现文化的转化,在必要时,译者可突破语言形式的束缚,对原文进行改写,以达到译文在目的语的功能与原文在源语中的功能的对等。笔者发现,文化翻译理论多被用于分析经典文学著作的翻译,但目前尚未被用于研究《射雕英雄传》的英译本。鉴于此,本文以苏珊·巴斯内特的文化翻译理论,探究译者如何通过改写的翻译策略来实现文化功能对等的目标。经过详尽的对比研究,本文发现,在宏观层面,《英雄出世》运用“增删改”的翻译技巧,通过巧妙增加副文本,改写对话和删除与文化有关的内容,提升译文可读性的效果。而对带有文化色彩...
