译者惯习和罗伯特·彭斯诗歌汉译风格的比较研究

  苏格兰诗人罗伯特彭斯是19世纪英国浪漫主义的先驱,一生致力于苏格兰民歌的收集、整理、改编工作,留下了370多篇民谣。国内对于彭斯诗歌汉译最早始于1908年,其中袁水拍、王佐良、袁可嘉、李正栓四位译者尤为突出。虽然中国对彭斯诗歌汉译有一定的研究,但很少有研究将他的译介置身于社会这个维度考察,并对于不同译者的惯习进行比较研究。本文在法国社会学家皮埃尔·布迪厄的社会惯习理论指导下,研究苏格兰诗人罗伯特·彭斯袁水拍、袁可嘉、王佐良和李正栓四个译本中体现的汉译风格与译者惯习。翻译是一种社会化规约化的行为,而译者是翻译活动中的主要执行者。译者的主体性可体现在翻译思想、翻译文本的选择以及翻译策略的使用上。译者的主体性是与其特有的惯习形成密不可分的。不同的译者在其独特的成长、学习、交际等社会化的过程中会产生不同的性情倾向,这种倾向性会带来其翻译目的、翻译策略、翻译风格等方面的差异。这些都凸显了翻译行为显著的社会性特征。进入20世纪90年代,中国学者开始关注译者在翻译中的主观介入,他们试图从多个视角探讨译者在翻译中的主体性地位,这种关注使译者逐渐从“幕后”走向“台前”。国内对彭斯诗歌翻译的研究虽然有所涉...
